Aiphone now have the JP hands free colour video intercom

For residential and commercial applications where a colour intercom system is required. The Aiphone JP4MED enables up to four video door stations with Panoramic View and up to a total of eight internal room stations. All feature hands free communications as well as having a handset for private communications making the Aiphone JP4MED ideal for use in office locations where loud speaking intercom is not desirable.

The added feature of digital picture memory comes standard with the Aiphone JP4MED. Up to six images are recorded automatically each time a caller presses the call button on the video entry station. If the optional SD memory card is installed forty images are recorded each time a call is made from a entry station. These images can be played back on the Aiphone JP4MED. Images from the SD card can also be downloaded to a PC. (SD card reader required)

The system also features internal communication between room stations with selective call as well as all station all and a baby monitoring feature.

The JM and JP hardware is fully compatible and interchangeable. However JK series door stations should not be used with a JP4MED master station.

For the installer there is a choice of wiring options. Wiring to from the entry stations to the JP4MED is by the Aiphone KBWIRE 2 core polyethylene cable used on all of the Aiphone video intercom systems. Wiring between room stations is by Cat5 or Cat6 cabling using modular plugs. Wiring can be either daisy chained from room station to room station, or wired back to a central location (requires JP8Z) or a combination of both. A wiring distance from the JP4MED to the last JP4HD of 300m can be achieved using the correct cable and required number of power supplies. Station Cat5 cabling is terminated in modular jacks simplifying wiring.

Five types of video door stations are available for use with the JP4MED system all with a 170 degrees Panoramic viewing angle as well as two audio only door stations.

2. Aiphone JPDV surface mount die cast steel vandal resistant door station
3. Aiphone JPDVF flush mount stainless steel vandal resistant door station
4. Aiphone JPDVFL flush mount stainless steel vandal resistant door station with guidance display
5. Aiphone GTD surface mount plastic audio door station
6. Aiphone GTDL flush mount stainless steel audio door station (IEJA style custom made)
7. JKACSSFP flush mount stainless steel vandal resistant panel for the Aiphone JKDVF and the Aiphone AC10U access keypad, requires Aiphone GF3B back box. JKACSSFP Brochure.

All door stations are weather resistant and are designed to last in the Australian climate. and the JPDV and JPDVF have a vandal resistance of IK08.

The JP series intercom is sold in kit form, each kit includes the colour door station a JP4MED main monitor and a Aiphone PS2420 power supply. The kit model part numbers are;
